What We Support

The Lyons Township Booster Club is a volunteer parent organization that raises funds to celebrate and support educational, social, athletic and performing arts activities at LTHS.

Every membership is important to the LT Boosters mission. Your membership provides LT students with enhanced opportunities for growth and leadership at a top Illinois school. Booster Club members and volunteers help to bridge the gap between what declining public education funding can provide and what our kids deserve.

Sports, clubs and extracurricular activities are a vital part of the high quality LT educational experience. From volleyball to virtual business, jazz to journalism, sustainability to stage crew there are activities to capture the imagination and passion of every LT student. As a Booster Club member you can help ensure that LT High School students benefit from a wide range of experiences that support and encourage lifetime learning and achievement.

Since 1998 the LT Boosters have awarded $492,000 in scholarships to 394 deserving LT students through the Senior Honors program. In addition, the LT Boosters has granted the following over the past few years:

  • Kegel Torch Lane Targeting Light for the Bowling Team
  • New coaching headsets for the Football Team
  • Individual state championship banners for the Girls & Boys Swimming & Diving Teams
  • New batting cages for the Baseball Team
  • Touchpro Touchscreen for South Campus and Swimming Pool Trophy Case for the Athletic Department
  • Funds to support the MLK Celebration for the Black & Multi Cultural Club
  • A commercial tilt truck for the Business Management Club
  • Model UN conference registration fees and spirit wear
  • Steppers competition expenses
  • Zoology Club animal care expenses
  • Costumes for the Eurythmic Dance Company
  • Illinois Holocaust Museum field trip for PRISM
